Comments:
The Catfish Hotel, on the banks of the Tennessee River, offers the best fried catfish...period! (however, a close 2nd is Malone's in Tupelo) This is not only our opinion but that of the National Catfish Association. If you don't like catfish, they have a variety of entree's that are excellent as well: steak, ribs, shrimp, scallops, chicken, and frog legs! If you love ribs, these may be some of the best you'll ever sink your teeth into. This place is well worth the 2 hour drive. It's in Shiloh, Tenn. right next to the civil war museum and park. So leave early on a Saturday so you can spend some time at the museum.

Address:
HWY 22 N (Shiloh, TN)
Need a map?

Directions:
There are 2 ways from Memphis to get there: Hwy 57 or 72. We prefer Hwy 72 as
it's mostly 4 lanes, it has a lot less traffic, and while longer in miles, it may be a bit shorter time wise. On the other hand, Hwy 57 is almost a straight shot. For both highways, starting at I-240 and Poplar, you'll head east on Poplar. When you enter Collierville, you'll need to have decided which highway to take:
If Hwy 57, continue straight through Collierville and drive for an hour-and-a-half or so. At the 4-way stop at Hwy 2, turn left. (skip next paragraph).
If Hwy 72, about mid-way thru Collierville, turn right off Poplar just after the Amoco stations (which is just past McDonalds). Stay on Hwy 72 until you reach Corinth (about 1 hour). About a mile into Corinth, turn left on to the Hwy 45 bypass to Selmer, TN. In 5 minutes or so, take the Henson Road exit. Turn right at end of the exit onto Henson Road. Go straight at the 4-way stop. In 5 minutes, turn left onto Hwy 2. After 10-15 minutes, go straight at the 4-way stop at Hwy 57 & Hwy 2.
