Cafe Max has been around for a number of years. They're mostly known for their seafood entrees and their oyster and shrimp bar. While they must be doing something good, the dining experience of several of our Memphis Dining "visitors" has not been overwhelmingly positive. It has been a few years since our last visit, but recent emails state that the food is around average while the service is poor. Our visit (again, a few years ago) offered the same conclusion of mediocre food, awful service. However, Cafe Max does offer a large seafood menu and a good dining atmosphere. Since palettes obviously differ from person-to-person, pay them a visit and send us an email.
