Opened in 1994, the Blue Plate Cafe continues to serve a delicious plate lunch as well as breakfast (at any time of the day).  It's doing so well they've opened a second location in Cordova.  The BPC building actually started as a home in 1954 when this part of Memphis was "in the country."  Now, it's in the thick of things.  If you like southern cookin', the BPC is a must!  Their chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, corn bread, and deserts are excellent.  They also serve all you can eat catfish ($8.95) Friday & Saturday nights.
